From June 21st through July 27th, 2007, Lori Bookstein Fine Art will host On Board, an exhibition of still life paintings and watercolors by the artists of the Zeuxis Association, along with selected guests. Zeuxis, now in its thirteenth year, has held over fifty exhibitions in commercial galleries, museums, and college exhibition spaces nationwide. This is its second guest exhibition at Lori Bookstein Fine Art.

On Board will continue to explore the group’s commitment to still life painting, while reflecting the diverse aesthetics of its members. The motif of the table top will serve as a loose foundation for the show, but the works exhibited are self-selected and will demonstrate a plurality of approaches, with the subject matter in these works serving alternately as the basis for faithful recordings of the world and a springboard for abstraction and emotion.
